The Boot Inn is an 18th-century, half-timbered building in the heart of the picturesque village of Houghton in Hampshire.

The Boot, as it’s affectionately called by locals, was acquired in 2020 by the Doyle Family.

The Boot is often referred to as, “more than just a pub,” and their management has ensured it remains the heart and soul of the village.

The culinary vision of The Boot is focused on working with local suppliers to ensure an ever-changing,  seasonal menu that reflects the diverse and very best of Hampshire’s gastronomic offerings.

The Boot is known and loved for its extensive summertime areas. The front of The Boot is adorned with a brasserie-style terrace. It provides the ideal location for diners to enjoy the sunshine and fresh air alongside locally sourced, home-cooked meals and a selection from a wide range of wines.

The Boot’s outdoor space extends out back with an oversized beer garden alongside the River Test. The Riverside Grill and Bar in this location makes it a perfect venue for private parties on request.
